Aarthi SubramanianExecutive Director- TCS
Aarthi Subramanian is the Global Head of Delivery Excellence Group and responsible for governance of service delivery, compliance and risk management. She was appointed as the Executive Director to the Board of TCS on March 12, 2015 for a period of three years. Aarthi is passionate about enabling TCS’ best practices and experience in service delivery, while driving a strong continuous improvement culture and mindset. Prior to this role, Aarthi was the Head of Delivery for seven years with the TCS Retail & CPG Business unit, where she was responsible for several strategic accounts and major clients. She led the team to achieve excellence in customer service through relentless customer focus, rigor in service delivery, and proactive value addition focus. She has played a key role in setting up SAP Center of Excellence in Chennai. Aarthi started her career as a graduate trainee in TCS in 1989. She went on to become an Analyst, Project Manager and then a Delivery Manager to a Senior Executive role in TCS. During her 25 year career, she has worked in diverse roles in India, Sweden, US and Canada and has rich experience in account management, delivery and large program management. For five years, Aarthi worked with Informix Software. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Warangal (India) and a Masters degree in Engineering Management from University of Kansas (USA). Her hobbies include listening to music, watching movies and reading management books. Aarthi is also a fitness enthusiast.

Abanti Sankaranarayananchief Strategy anD corporate affairs officer – Diageo
Abanti Sankaranarayanan leads the Strategy and Corporate Affairs functions at United Spirits – a Diageo Group Company, and is also the member of its 8-member Executive Committee. She is responsible for providing strategic direction and strengthening the infrastructure of the company’s business operations. During Diageo’s integration with USL, she was responsible for the creation of a center of luxury excellence, established to enhance the combined organization’s luxury brand leadership. Sankaranarayanan i has an outstanding track record of over 20 years in the consumer industry and was previously leading the Luxury and Corporate Relations functions, where she was responsible for the creation of a center of luxury excellence established to enhance USL and Diageo’s luxury brand leadership. Prior to joining Diageo, Sankaranarayanan was Executive Director and Deputy CEO at Mount Everest Mineral Water (a Tata enterprise), where she was responsible for crafting the Tata Group’s foray into the bottled water segment. She also serves on the CII National Committee on FMCG, as the Vice Chairperson of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and member of the board of the International Spirits & Wines Association of India (ISWAI), the industry body for domestic alcohol beverage producers in India, the Chairman of Four Seasons Wines Ltd and member of the Board of Directors of Shoppers Stop Ltd. Her contribution to the business have been recognized by Fortune India (The Most Powerful Women in Business; 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016), India Today (India’s 25 Most Influential Women, 2013) and Fast Company, New York (100 Most Creative People in Business, 2012). Sankaranarayanan is an Economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.

Aisha de Sequeira serves as Co-Country Head and Head of Investment Banking, India of Morgan Stanley. Prior to this, she has been the Head of India Investment Banking of Morgan Stanley. Ms. de Sequeira is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of investment banking services including advisory and capital raising for Indian clients. She joined Morgan Stanley in 1995, where as the Managing Director within the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Department she has executed financial advisory assignments, including cross-border engagements, across a wide range of industries. In the last several years, Ms. de Sequeira has focused on advising global consumer companies, with clients including Unilever, PepsiCo and May Department Stores. She received a B.S. in Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from the University of Goa and an M.S. in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.

Ms. Apurva Purohit serves as the President of The Jagran Group. In this role, she is working with top management in overseeing the entire business operations and functioning of Midday, Inext, Jagran online and other print and non-print businesses besides Radio City and also participates in strategic decision making for the group. In addition, overseeing certain functional areas of the core business of Dainik Jagran is also a part of scope of her work. In a career spanning 25 years in media, Purohit has worked with BCCL, Zee Telefilms and Lodestar UM. She has spent the last 10 years with Radio City. Under her leadership, Radio City not only scaled up from the four station company to 20 stations last year but also became one of the largest and the most profitable FM stations in the country. Aruna is the CEO – Business Services (BSv), Capgemini – part of the Capgemini Group, that focuses on transformation and outsourcing solutions to help organizations improve their business operations. It brings together Business Process expertise, Technology and Digital Platforms to offer conventional BPO solutions or ‘as-aservice’ platforms across the process landscape of an organization. Aruna oversees the business which has a robust footprint in areas like Finance and Accounting, HR, Procurement and Supply Chain in several industry domains such as insurance, consumer products, manufacturing, etc. She is a member of Capgemini’s Group Executive Committee. Prior to her current role, Aruna was the CEO of Capgemini India for five years (2011 – 2015). Before that, she was Global Delivery Head for Capgemini Outsourcing. She has been with Capgemini since 2000. Aruna has been in the IT & Outsourcing services industry for over three decades and is an industry elected Executive Council Member of NASSCOM. She was honored as the Most Powerful Woman in India by India’s leading business magazine, Business Today, in its eighth annual list, and is also ranked 4th in the List of 50 Most Powerful Indian Women by Fortune India magazine. She is currently on the Supervisory Board of Michelin and Chairperson of the Board of Governors of National Institute of Technology, Calicut.

Arundhati Bhattacharyachairman & managing DirEctor-SBi
Arundhati Bhattacharya is the Chairman and Managing Director of State Bank of India. Bhattacharya, the first woman to head India’s largest bank, has managed to deliver an encouraging performance despite the challenging economic environment. In the past few years, she has managed to put a check on non-performing assets, delivered profitable growth and introduced new initiatives in the digital banking space. Arundhati Bhattacharya has rolled out several digital banking initiatives to compete with private banks. Three years ago, when Bhattacharya took over as the first woman chairperson of State Bank of India, she spelt out some strategic goals – taming asset quality deterioration, improving risk management framework, checking costs, improving delivery standards and non-interest income, and leveraging technology. She had joined SBI as a probationary officer – PO – in 1978 and since then has donned many roles. She was also admired throughout business world for giving new identity to the SBI. Arundhati Bhattacharya is a Post Graduate alumnus from the Jadavpur University.

Chanda KochharcEo & managing DirEctor- icici Bank
Chanda Kochhar is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank Limited, India’s largest private sector bank. She is widely recognised for her role in shaping the retail banking sector in India and for her leadership of the ICICI Group, as well as her contributions to various forums in India and globally. Kochhar began her career, with erstwhile ICICI Limited in 1984 and was elevated to the Board of Directors of ICICI Bank in 2001. She was elevated as Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Bank in 2009 and is responsible for the Bank’s diverse operations in India and overseas. Throughout her time at ICICI, Kochhar has implemented numerous innovative changes to the Indian retail banking industry which have directly contributed to the company becoming a market leader.
She is currently the President of the International Monetary Conference. She is also the Deputy Chairperson of the Indian Banks Association. She is on the boards of Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, National Institute of Securities Markets and Institute of International Finance. Kochhar had received an honorary Doctor of Laws from Carleton University, Canada in 2014. The university conferred this award on her in recognition of her pioneering work in the financial sector, effective leadership in a time of economic crisis and support for engaged business practices. Kochhar is also widely acknowledged for her leadership, has been named a ‘Woman of Power’ by the Asian Business Leadership Forum and received the Padma Bhushan Award, the third highest civilian honor by the Government of India, for her services to the banking sector in 2011.

Debarati Sen has been Managing Director and Director of 3M India Limited since June 1, 2016. 3M India is the Indian subsidiary of US multinational conglomerate 3M Co. Sen had joined 3M in 1996 and has been a part of the organization for over two decades now. She has worked across various verticals and held key positions including CMO and Global Business Director at the company. Prior to this role, she was the acting Director of Corporate Sales Operation at 3M’s corporate headquarters in St. Paul, USA. Post her appointment as the MD, her new role focuses on innovation, aligning the organization closely to customer needs in the Indian marketplace. 3M India’s local capabilities in the form of industry leading Customer Innovation Centers, multiple manufacturing plans and top notch talent across functions positions it well for growth. Dipali Goenka cEo- WElSpun
Dipali Goenka is the CEO & Jt. Managing Director of Welspun India Limited. As the driving force behind its textile business, she has successfully led the development of two of the most recognised brands in India known as SPACES Home & Beyond and WelHome. A Graduate in Psychology, she has also completed Owners/President Management programme from Harvard. She has retail initiative in India and setup an award winning design studio at Welspun with a clear global perspective. In January 2013 she was appointed the first woman president of the $54 billion computer chip maker Intel Corp. in India. Srinivasan, who joined Intel in 1987, has spent more than 25 years at the company, holding several business and information systems positions. Her current focus is to take India to the next level as a centre for innovation besides R&D and also realize its true worth in terms of its market potential. Before this, she was the vice president and general manager for information technologies at Silicon Software and Services and headed Intel’s internal full-service consulting practice. Preetha Reddy is the Vice Chairperson of the Apollo Hospitals Group, Asia’s foremost integrated healthcare provider. She is widely recognized for her contributions in making high quality healthcare accessible to millions across the country and also for her support to various entities and industry bodies, working for the betterment of the country.
