External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj took to Twitter to state that three Indian nationals named Lokashini, Narayan Chandrashekhar and Ramesh are among the 207 dead in serial blasts in Sri Lanka which took place on Easter Sunday. Swaraj further wrote that she conveyed to her Sri Lanka counterpart that India is ready to provide all humanitarian assistance.
SL bomber waited in buffet queue to set off explosives: Hotel Manager
The suicide bomber who targeted Sri Lanka’s Cinnamon Grand Colombo hotel waited in queue for Easter Sunday breakfast buffet before setting off explosives strapped to his back, the hotel’s manager said. Registered at the hotel as Mohamed Azzam Mohamed, he was holding a plate. “He reached to the top of the queue and set off the blast,” the manager added.

The easy-to-guess password ‘123456’ is the world’s most hacked password with millions still using it on sensitive accounts, an analysis by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of public databases of breached accounts found. Around 23.2 million victim accounts used ‘123456’ as the password. The second-most hacked password was ‘123456789’, with ‘qwerty’, ‘password’ and ‘1111111’ among the top five.

TruJet hires 100 employees of grounded airline Jet Airways
TruJet, the budget airline based at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, has hired 100 employees of grounded airline Jet Airways. These include pilots, engineering and other corporate staff. The airline said that it’s planning to induct new aircraft to make new routes operational in the coming months.

Aligarh govt officials have alcohol in office, 3 suspended
The Aligarh Transport Department suspended three and terminated one of its staffers after a video of them pouring liquor into glasses in the office premises went viral. In the video, one of the staffers can be seen pouring liquor into glasses hidden in a drawer of a table. The staffers can also be heard using abusive language in the video.
Perpetrators of SL attack should be brought to justice: MEA
Condemning the serial blasts in Sri Lanka, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) tweeted that it calls for “perpetrators of such ghastly and heinous act” to be brought to “justice expeditiously”. “We stand together with the people…Government of Sri Lanka in this hour of grief,” it added. Keeping a close watch on the situation, Union Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted.

Former NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya has said India must complete its reform process in the next five years. He added the country must focus on the growth of labour-intensive sectors such as apparel, footwear and furniture to create decent jobs. India must give “serious thought” to privatising state-run banks to tackle the accumulation of bad loans, Panagariya said.
No order issued on 5-day working in commercial banks: RBI
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Saturday said it has not issued any direction on a five-day working week for commercial banks. This comes amid media reports that commercial banks would have a 5-day week as per RBI instructions. Currently, branches of commercial banks observe holiday only on the second and fourth Saturdays of a month apart from Sundays.

Privatisation not a remedy, says Air India union official
Privatisation isn’t a remedy which can make an airline profitable as is evident from shuttering of Jet Airways and Kingfisher, an Air India staff union official said. He further urged the government to reconsider its plans to de-nationalise the flag carrier. The government’s plans to privatise Air India, which has a debt of around ₹55,000 crore, are currently on hold.
