Pakistani nationals asked to leave Raj’s Bikaner in 48 hours
Pakistani nationals who are not registered with a foreigner registration officer have been asked to leave Rajasthan’s Bikaner district within 48 hours, as per orders issued by the District Magistrate. Further, hotels and lodges have been prohibited from hosting Pakistani citizens, and Indians have been ordered not to employ Pakistani citizens or have any business relationships with Pakistan.

SBI to waive off loans taken by martyred CRPF soldiers
State-owned State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that it will waive off all loans taken by CRPF soldiers martyred in Pulwama attack. The country’s largest bank also announced to expedite the payment of insurance money of ₹30 lakh as under the Defence Salary Package. SBI has also created a UPI payment gateway to facilitate donation to martyrs’ families.
FIR against Shehla Rashid over misinformation on Kashmiri girls
Dehradun Police has filed an FIR against former JNU Students’ Union leader Shehla Rashid after she circulated information of Kashmiri girls being ‘trapped’ in a Dehradun hostel following the Pulwama attack. Army Major martyred in blast near LoC dreamt of Shaurya Chakra

3rd terrorist killed in Pulwama encounter, head constable martyred
Another terrorist has been killed by security forces in an encounter underway in Pinglan area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, while a head constable was martyred. Earlier in the day, four Army personnel were martyred and two terrorists were killed in the encounter. J&K Police said in a statement that identities and affiliations of terrorists killed are being ascertained.
DIG South Kashmir injured in encounter with terrorists in Pulwama
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of South Kashmir Amit Kumar was hit by a bullet in his leg during an encounter in J&K’s Pulwama today, in which two terrorists were killed. Kumar has been shifted to Army Hospital and his condition is said to be stable. Four Army men, including a Major, were martyred in the encounter, which is still underway.
RBI to give ₹28,000 crore interim dividend to government
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday said it will transfer an interim dividend of ₹28,000 crore to the government. This is the second consecutive year that the RBI will be transferring an interim surplus. The central bank had transferred a total of ₹50,000 crore to the government for 2017-18 of which ₹10,000 crore was transferred as interim dividend.

SC refuses PIL seeking court-monitored probe into Mirage crash
The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a court-monitored inquiry into the recent Mirage 2000 aircraft crash in Bengaluru which claimed the lives of two pilots. The court said there cannot be a judicial enquiry into such mishappening involving fighter jets. The court said the pilots were using the aircraft that was “bound to crash”.
Pak violated Vienna treaty by arresting Jadhav without informing: India
Pakistan violated the Vienna Convention by arresting retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, senior lawyer Harish Salve said while representing India at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Article 36 of Vienna Convention requires that a country must be informed about the detention of its citizens, Salve added. He further said Pakistan used the ICJ to spread “propaganda” against India.

Ready to adopt family of one of the CRPF martyrs: Bihar DM
District Magistrate of Bihar’s Sheikhpura, Inayat Khan, said she is ready to adopt one of the families of the two CRPF jawans from Bihar who were martyred in Pulwama attack. A bank account will be opened to raise funds for the martyrs’ families, Khan added. “Whatever…will be collected by March 10, would be distributed between the families,” she further said.
Attacks will last until Kashmir issue is resolved: Farooq
Talking about the Jammu and Kashmir terror attack, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Sunday said that such attacks will continue until the Kashmir issue is resolved politically. Expressing concern over the alleged attacks on Kashmiris outside the state, he said the common people have no role in the attack. He further asked the people to maintain peace.
Coal India subsidiaries to donate ₹1.75cr to martyr’s family
Coal India Limited subsidiaries, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), will donate ₹1.75 crore to family of martyred CRPF jawan from Jharkhand, Vijay Soreng. “Every employee, executive and non-executive, will contribute ₹200 to the cause,” an official release read. “It is moral responsibility to ensure future…of Vijay Soreng’s family,” CCL CMD Gopal Singh said.
