Sanchez and Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, her husband of 14 years, both filed divorce papers on Friday and asked for joint custody of their two kids. Sanchez, a helicopter pilot, has founded an aerial film production company.

Germany-based scientists have warned current carbon dioxide levels are as high as three million years ago, when Greenland was mostly green, sea levels were up to 20 meters higher and trees grew on Antarctica. As per computer simulations, CO2 levels shouldn’t be over 280 parts per million (ppm) without human activity, but they are rising beyond 410 ppm, scientists said.

Speaking on the controversy surrounding debris from successful ‘Mission Shakti’ anti-satellite (ASAT) missile test on March 27, DRDO Chief G Satheesh Reddy on Saturday said, “Within 45 days, all the debris will decay.” His comment comes after NASA claimed the test created 400 pieces of debris, calling it “terrible”. NASA also said the debris put International Space Station at risk.
Pak opens 1 of its 11 air routes for west-bound flights from India
Pakistan has opened one of its eleven overflight routes on Thursday for west-bound flights from north India. Airlines such as Air India and Turkish Airlines have already started using the air route. Air India’s operating cost increased significantly as it had to take longer routes due to the closure of Pakistan airspace following the Balakot air strike by IAF.

630 killed in Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo
More than 1,000 cases of Ebola have been reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) since the outbreak was reported in August last year, including nearly 630 deaths. “Some 338 patients who received care at Ebola treatment centres have now been discharged,” Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said.
Boeing cuts 737 production by 10 planes a month after 2 crashes
US planemaker Boeing on Friday said it will cut its monthly 737 aircraft production from 52 to 42 starting mid-April. This is Boeing’s first 737 production cut since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Before the Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines crashes, the world’s largest planemaker had planned to raise 737 output by about 10% by midyear.
