Co-working space startup WeWork has acquired New York-based office management startup Managed by Q for an undisclosed amount. Managed by Q will remain an independent business within WeWork and will continue to be led by its Co-founder Dan Teran post the acquisition. 16 farmers move HC for postponement of polls in Nizamabad
As many as 16 farmers, who are contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Telangana’s Nizamabad, have moved Telangana High Court seeking postponement of elections in the constituency. The petition stated that most of the farmers haven’t received symbols till now and don’t have enough time for campaigning. The farmers have also demanded that ballot papers be used instead of EVMs.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui will star in the film adaptation of a novel by Aasif Mandvi titled ‘No Land’s Man’, which will be directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. “I felt compelled to be associated with the project…as…this is that kind of film which…needs to be made,” Nawazuddin said. The family of an American woman killed in the Ethiopian Airlines 737 MAX crash has filed a lawsuit against the airline, Boeing and Rosemount Aerospace, which makes a part of the aircraft. LeT terrorist arrested with live grenade in J&K’s Baramulla
A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, identified as Zandpal-resident Firdous Khan, was arrested in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The police had launched a search operation, following which they apprehended Khan and seized one live grenade from his possession. An FIR under the concerned section of the Arms Act has been registered and a further investigation is underway.

Delhi businessman’s pistol accidentally goes off in Starbucks, held
A 61-year-old businessman was arrested in Delhi on Thursday after his pistol went off at a Starbucks outlet in Connaught Place, creating panic, police said. The businessman was at the outlet for a meeting and when he stood up to leave, his pistol fell out of his pocket and accidentally went off, police added. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Japan space probe drops 2-kg bomb on asteroid to make crater Japan’s space agency on Friday said its Hayabusa2 spacecraft released a 2-kg copper explosive onto asteroid Ryugu to make an impact crater. JAXA added the spacecraft safely evacuated and remained intact. JAXA plans to send Hayabusa2 back to the site later, when the dust settles, to collect underground samples. The mission aims to understand the history of the solar system.
