A large private sector bank is looking at recruiting the Deputy Head – Legal. The incumbent will be responsible to support the Head Corporate Legal, in providing Legal Advisory services to the various Business and Control functions within the Bank, more specifically to Wholesale Banking and Financial Markets. Develop strategies from a legal perspective to facilitate business within the legal framework specifically relating to Wholesale Banking & Financial Markets, as well as any other business or control function ( delegated to the incumbent by the Head Corporate Legal) after due consultation and approval of Head Corporate Legal. He will have to evaluate and monitor the progress on the cases filed against the Bank. Introduce appropriate policies and procedures for handling legal issues arising in the Bank’s activities.
