Bulgarian police arrest six over racist chants at England game
Bulgarian police have detained six people in connection with the racist abuse faced by England’s black players during the Bulgaria-England Euro 2020 qualifier match in Sofia. “We are searching for three more as we have collected evidence about their involvement in the incidents,” a senior police official said. The match was halted twice during the first half.

Space gear to be worn by Virgin Galactic’s space tourists revealed
American apparels brand Under Armour has unveiled the space gear to be worn by the commercial passengers of billionaire Richard Branson’s aerospace firm Virgin Galactic. The gear, which comprises a base layer, spacesuit and boots, also has functional features like an integrated communication system. Virgin Galactic had sent its first, non-commercial passenger to space in February.
NTA considering to hold NEET twice a year
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is considering holding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) twice in a calendar year, NTA Director General Vineet Joshi said. The planning is at the initial stage and the exam authority will proceed only after receiving approval from the Health Ministry, he added. “The exam schedule for NEET 2020 will remain unaffected,” he added.
338 people across the world arrested in probe of child porn website
As many as 338 people across the world have been arrested and charged in an investigation of the largest darknet child pornography website, the US’ Justice Department announced on Wednesday. The website was taken offline in March 2018 and contained over 2.5 lakh videos which had collectively been downloaded more than a million times. The website sold videos using Bitcoin.

Twitter to stop users from retweeting leaders breaking its rules
Twitter announced on Tuesday that it will restrict users from liking, replying, retweeting and sharing tweets by world leaders who break its rules. The company added that users will instead be allowed to quote-tweet to let other users express their opinions. The move aims to enforce Twitter’s rules judiciously and impartially while letting its users stay informed about global affairs.
Nazara invests ₹83.5 cr in kids subscription startup Paper Boat Apps
Mumbai-based gaming company Nazara Technologies has invested ₹83.5 crore for 51% stake in children’s games development startup Paper Boat Apps. The company has acquired the stake at a pre-money valuation of ₹154 crore. Paper Boat Apps is the creator and publisher of ‘Kiddopia’, a subscription-based preschool edutainment app. The startup was founded by Anshu Dhanuka and Anupam Dhanuka.
Chennai water management startup WEGoT raises $2 million
Chennai-based water management startup WEGoT Utility Solutions has raised $2 million in a seed round led by ithought’s Shyam Sekhar, GoFrugal and Brigade Enterprises. Investors including Grotech Landscape’s Vibhu Natarajan and Entrust Family Office’s Rajagopal S also participated in the round. The IoT-based startup offers integrated water management solutions in real-time to prevent water crisis.
