Cops were surprised when they spotted a woman walking naked along a busy road in Nashville, Tennessee in August. When they approached her to know why she was walking completely nude, she simply said, “Because it’s hot.” She has been charged with public indecency. The woman, identified as 35-year-old Princess Denise Day, was found walking naked on a sidewalk along the Charlotte Pike and 53rd Avenue North. When officers approached her, she put on a large t-shirt that she was carrying along with her. When officers inquired about the reason for walking naked, she replied, “Because it’s hot.” She added that she was going to a friend’s house, however, she decided to return home because of the heat. The officers charged her for public indecency. They said that Day did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of her arrest. She would appear in the court in October. In another incident, a man was spotted running naked through a cornfield in Derbyshire, the UK, earlier this month. The Swadlincote Response Unit had tweeted a photo of a cornfield asking people to guess what they were looking for. When the response unit revealed that they were searching for a naked man, people were surprised. The man was spotted at the junction of Rosliston Road and Caldwell Road in Caldwell. In July, another man stripped naked before boarding his flight at Russia’s Domodedovo Airport because he believed clothes made him ‘less aerodynamic’. He was caught by the airport security staff while he was trying to run to the jet bridge. Later, he was detained by the police at the airport.
