Oliver wendell holmes, jr. once said, “This is a court of law, young man, not a court of justice.” The words seem very true in today’s times when the judiciary itself regularly comes under scrutiny – be it for a large number of pending cases in the court, questionable verdicts, judicial oversight or posts lying vacant.
