Migraine found to be three times more in women: Study (Lifestyle)
According to a recent study, due to the higher prevalence of estrogen and other sex hormones, women bear a significant amount of the migraine burden. It was also found that as compared to men migraine is three times more common in women, reaching prevalence between ages 30-39. Longer and more intense migraine attacks are more likely to be experienced by women.
Syed Shakeel Ahmed, son of Hizbul Chief Syed Salahuddin arrested by NIA (India)
Hizbul chief and globally wanted terrorist Syed Salahuddin’s second son Syed Shakeel Yousuf has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). NIA team along with the local police and CRPF raided the house of Shakeel in Srinagar and arrested him. For further questioning in connection with the 2011 terror funding case Shakeel is being brought to Delhi.
Kerala distress relief fund receive Rs. 728 crore till Aug 28 (India)
Rs. 738 Crores has been received by Kerala Chief Minister distress relief fund (CMDRF) till August 28. as many as 3.91 lakh persons have so far contributed to CMDRF since August 14, according to report in the TOI. The humanitarian aid has surpassed all other relief funds received by the state’s CMDRF.

According to a study, fathers play a pivotal role in helping their daughters overcome loneliness. As per the researchers, loneliness declined more quickly among girls who had a closer relationship with their fathers. Xin Feng, co-author of the study says, “The bond between fathers and daughters is very important.” There’s nothing a close father-daughter relationship can’t solve, even loneliness.
