Social commerce startup GlowRoad has raised ₹80 crore ($11.5 million) in a Series B+ funding round, Inc42 reported. The startup’s Co-founder Kunal Sinha said that South Korea-based Korea Investment Partners and Singapore-based Vertex Ventures participated in the investment. Founded in 2017, GlowRoad enables suppliers to sell their products to end customers through resellers.

Australian regulator ACCC has sued Sony Europe for violating law by refusing refunds on faulty PlayStation games. Sony also allegedly told customers it couldn’t provide refunds unless the games’ independent developer confirmed it was irreparably faulty. “Sony Europe gave false and misleading information to customers about their rights in relation to games sold via PlayStation store,” ACCC said.

The NIA has found that terror group Hizbul Mujahideen was behind the March 30 failed car bomb attack on a CRPF convoy in Banihal, J&K. Hizbul was “inspired” by Pulwama attack and “wanted to gain international headlines so its Pakistan-based leader Syed Salahuddin is praised in that country,” officials said. NIA learnt about the conspiracy while questioning arrested Hizbul terrorists.

Arbitration court rejects India’s plea in ₹5,000 cr Nissan case
The Permanent Court of Arbitration in Singapore rejected India’s argument that it doesn’t have jurisdiction over a case filed by Nissan. The carmaker is claiming over ₹5,000 crore in a dispute over incentives it said were due from Tamil Nadu as part of a 2008 agreement.
