This reportedly happened on May 30. Trinamool Congress has claimed that it was their office which was captured by supporters of a newly elected BJP MP.

Wreckage of the missing Indian Air Force AN-32 aircraft has been reportedly found near Arunachal Pradesh’s Payum village. The aircraft had gone missing with eight crew members and five passengers after taking off from Assam’s Jorhat airbase on Monday. The aircraft, headed to Arunachal Pradesh’s Mechuka, lost all contact with ground staff at around 1 PM.
IAF aircraft with 13 on board missing after taking off from Assam
An IAF AN-32 aircraft with 13 people on board has been missing for three hours after taking off from Assam’s Jorhat airbase at 12:25 pm. The aircraft, which was on its way to Arunachal Pradesh’s Mechuka, last contacted ground sources at 1 pm. IAF has launched Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft and C-130 Special Operations aircraft on a search mission.

TN asks Secretariat to avoid casuals, wear saree, formal shirt-pants
Tamil Nadu has issued an order for the dress code to be followed in Secretariat. It states that casual attire should be avoided and women must wear saree or salwar kameez or a churidar with dupatta of “sober colour”, while men must wear formal shirts and pants. 2 Army jawans attacked by hotel staff in Uttar Pradesh, 7-8 arrested
Two Army personnel were thrashed by a group of waiters with sticks in a restaurant in Uttar Pradesh’s Bagpat district on Saturday. Police said the incident took place when the jawans allegedly entered into an altercation with a customer, following which a waiter intervened and it led to a fight. Police has registered a case and arrested 7-8 restaurant staff.

Vistara CEO Leslie Thng has said the full-service carrier plans to launch international flights from the second half of this year. “Vistara can start short-haul flights but would need more time for long-haul ones,” he added. The carrier has bought six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes, scheduled to be delivered between 2020 and 2021, for long-haul operations.

BBNL plans to take over optical fibre infra under BharatNet
Bharat Broadband Network (BBNL) Chairman Sarvesh Singh has said the state-run telecom infrastructure provider is planning to take over operations and maintenance work of optical fibre-based infrastructure being laid under BharatNet project. The entire maintenance of fibre under BharatNet is done by BSNL, he added. BBNL had allocated around 70% of rural broadband network roll-out work to BSNL.
