Povlsen’s family was visiting the country over the Easter holiday. “We ask you to respect the privacy of the family,” said a spokesperson for Bestseller, the clothing brand owned by Povlsen, who is also the biggest single shareholder in clothing giant ASOS.

8 Indians among 290 dead in Sri Lanka blasts on Easter Sunday
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has confirmed that eight Indians were among the 290 killed in the Easter Sunday serial blasts in Sri Lanka. Earlier in the day, Sri Lanka held local jihadist group National Thowheeth Jama’ath (NTJ) responsible for the blasts. Over 500 people have been injured in the attack.

ZipGo fires 60 workers, shuts intra-city bus service: Report
Bengaluru-based shuttle service startup ZipGo has fired over 60 employees from its intra-city bus service division, which has now also been completely shut down, Entrackr reported. The startup had reportedly shut down the said service in Bengaluru and Mumbai starting March. ZipGo announced it was raising ₹300 crore in August 2018 but hasn’t raised funds since December 2017, Entrackr said.
Japan’s M3 buys majority stake in healthtech app DailyRounds
Japan-based online platform for medical professionals M3 has acquired a majority stake in Bengaluru-based healthtech startup DailyRounds for an undisclosed amount. This marks M3’s foray into case-based problem-solving community platform and medical test preparation business in India. DailyRounds app was founded in 2014 by Deepu Sebin, Nimmi Cherian and Priyaank Choubey.
205 railway projects report cost overrun of ₹2.21 lakh crore
As many as 205 projects of the Indian Railways are facing cost overrun of ₹2.21 lakh crore, as per the latest report by Statistics and Programme Implementation Ministry. The original cost of these projects stood at ₹1.68 lakh crore up to December 2018. The ministry monitored 367 projects of Indian Railways as of December, 94 of which reported time overrun.
15 Naxals surrender before police in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar
Fifteen Naxals comprising six women and nine men surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district on Sunday. “One of the surrendered Naxals carried a reward of ₹1 lakh on her head,” police said. Police added that the Naxals will be provided with necessary assistance according to the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the state government.

The company has built in optional volumes in its contracts with Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Mexico to make up for any shortfall. This comes as the US waivers from its sanctions on Iran to countries including India is expected to end in May.
