World-class standard

The cover story on humorous ads in the year-ender issue have re-established the world-class standards set by 4Ps B&M over the last so many years. The conceptualisation of the entire magazine by the team issue after issue, and the mind-boggling issues one after another is such a fantastic sight. My favourite sections are Rendezvous and First Cut. Contemporary commentaries that appear in Big Idea are also insightful. Maybe the section(s) on advertising can be made bigger, with more in-depth interviews of the heads of creative agencies in India.

Engrossing

The January issue of 4Ps is really engrossing. It takes you through the best of 4Ps including stories titled “Badmaash Company”, “Traffic Jam” and the story on minimalism. The cover story in the issue on ‘Humorous advertisements in 2012’ deserves a special mention. It is a unique article that gives readers a lot to learn from. The critical and analytical viewpoints given in the piece are amazing. The magazine outshines its contemporaries in terms of content, quality and the standards of journalism.
